So yesterday I made a post regarding a little Idea the women and I have of getting rid of her 2012 Malibu for something newer/nicer. there’s nothing wrong with the malibu but it’s not longer under warranty even tho it only has about 40k on the clock and runs perfect. Just with my Cadillac being what it is we don’t want to risk getting fucked by having something go wrong on her car and my car and draining our finances. So basically we just want a car with a warranty and she would like something else.

Any ways.... I found this on !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! it’s a 2012 Cadillac CTS Premium/sport AWD with Luxury package. Which means it’s got all the bells and whistles and the 3.6 v6 not the 3.0 v6. Only 20k on the clock and 22k price. Perfect! so I thought. since that one is out of town we went down to the ol’ Cadillac shoppe` here in town and found one on the lot. More miles, more money, and took it out for a spin...

She hated it. Well, let me rephrase that, she hated driving it. She Loved it when I was driving though. Too much power, too big, too responsive steering (yes she said that). Sigh... I on the other hand loved it! That 3.6 V6 is soo nice, yeah gotta rev her a bit more than the ol’ Northstar but god damn when it gets up on it’s feet. The handling was quite nice too.

Well atleast I know to stop dreaming about a Two Cadillac house hold, for now.. We are in no hurry so I think we might wait till fall and see if we can scoop a ATS in our range then. who knows, probably end up with another Malibooooo...

I don’t understand why you are concerned about the ‘12 ‘Bu?

well for me it’s 50% It’s a miserable POS to drive with it’s shit tastic 4spd and lazy 4 banger. and 50% I drive a money pit and lord help us if something happens with the Caddy and the Malibu in close proximity. Also she’s still paying on the boo, owes 4 still, valued at 9. More like 8ish on the trade in. So why pay for something that doesn’t have a warranty but isn’t upside down? her current auto loan rate is stupid high at like 8%. she talked to the bank and they approved her for 23k at 2% and her payments stay the same. Basically I want atleast one nice car with a warranty in the house is all.. hahaha

That makes sense I guess. Sometimes I forget that cars come with warranties.

I mean she’s owned two aveo’s and a Malibu. she’s also blind on her left side so she get’s a bit jumpy if things happen to quick.

Oh okay. In that case that’s perfectly understandable.
